Dumarey Automotive Italia S.p.A. operates from its headquarters located at Corso Castelfidardo 36, Turin, within the Polytechnic Citadel, where offices, laboratories and production facilities dedicated to Research and Development activities are concentrated. The company’s infrastructure includes 19 engine test benches, shared with Dumarey Softronix, including three hydrogen-powered facilities (two for internal combustion engines and one for fuel cell systems), two barometric-climatic test cells and one semi-anechoic chamber. The site also features a vehicle roller test bench equipped for emissions measurement, as well as specialized laboratories for metrology, fuel injection system characterization, fluid dynamics analysis, instrumentation calibration, and intake and exhaust system development. The facility is complemented by engine and vehicle workshops, dedicated areas for electrical harness manufacturing, and a Pre-Production Operations department responsible for incoming material management, prototype assembly, dimensional measurements, and the shipment of engines and components. R&D activities primarily focus on powertrain performance and emissions optimization, thermo-mechanical development and validation, and the integration of innovative technologies for sustainable mobility Each Business Unit within the Dumarey Group has a dedicated R&D team with specialized expertise. These teams are coordinated by a Project Leader responsible for planning, objectives, resource allocation and cost control. Activities are monitored through regular project reviews and stage-gate assessments to evaluate results, risks and progress, ensuring informed decisions on advancement to subsequent project phases.
