Prima Electro is an Original Design Manufacturer (ODM) and OEM partner specialized in the design and production of embedded power and control electronic solutions for industrial applications. As part of the Prima Industrie Group, a leader in industrial automation technologies, Prima Electro stands out for its ability to develop innovative solutions across a wide range of sectors.
Its mission is to support the technological evolution of its customers by offering reliable, sustainable, and tailor-made industrial solutions. Following the DOTS (Dedicated-Off-The-Shelf) business model, Prima Electro delivers complete turnkey solutions, covering all project phases with an integrated approach: from design to prototyping, through production, testing, and post-sales support.

The R&D department of Prima Electro is a center of excellence distinguished by its multidisciplinary expertise in the design of advanced electronic systems. This department focuses not only on power and control electronics but also integrates knowledge from various fields of electronic engineering.
Power electronics play a vital role in the efficient management of energy across a range of industrial applications, enabling the conversion and control of electrical power with high efficiency and reliability.
Control electronics, on the other hand, are essential to ensure that systems operate optimally, responding in real time to changing operating conditions.

Prima Electro adopts a highly verticalized production model, allowing full control over every stage of the manufacturing process—from component sourcing to the assembly and validation of finished systems.
The company, certified to ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 standards, operates through two production facilities located in the province of Turin:

The Moncalieri plant, which hosts the General Management, Commercial Departments, Administration, and Research & Development, as well as the initial stages of the production process, including the assembly and testing of electronic boards.

The Barone Canavese plant, where the final assembly of electronic systems takes place. This facility hosts the production lines, including assembly and testing departments, and manages both inbound and outbound warehouses. An expansion project is currently underway to increase production capacity in response to growing market demand.
