The Politecnico di Torino, founded in 1859 as the School of Application for Engineers and renamed the Royal Polytechnic in 1906, is the oldest engineering school in Italy. For over 160 years, it has been training professionals in the fields of engineering, architecture, design, and planning, standing out as one of Europe’s leading technical universities thanks to its excellence in teaching and research. Today, the university hosts around 38,700 students and over 1,000 faculty members.
