ALMA Ingegneria S.r.l., in partnership with ACSEL S.p.A., intends to propose the study and implementation of a system for the revamping of end-of-life photovoltaic panels, aimed at the reuse of decommissioned panels and the disposal of those considered irreparably damaged. The actual feasibility of reuse will be tested within the project through the construction of an off-grid plant designed to verify the effectiveness of the revamping technique developed. A specific project activity will focus on the development of a disposal cycle for damaged panels or those that can no longer be recovered
RICADUTE PREVISTE SULLA COMPETITIVITÀ DELLE IMPRESE COINVOLTE
For the lead partner, the main impact in terms of know-how will be the acquisition of a process that enables, on the one hand, the reuse and, on the other, the safe and environmentally sustainable disposal of end-of-life photovoltaic systems. This impact also represents the primary benefit for the partner ACSEL.
COLLABORAZIONE ATTIVATA, SIA TRA IMPRESE CHE CON ORGANISMI DI RICERCA
RUOLO SVOLTO DAL POLO (anche in prospettiva)
MODALITÀ DI DIFFUSIONE DEI RISULTATI
With regard to the dissemination/replicability of the results and their applicability, it should be noted that the model, once further improved, could be expanded and replicated in other companies, thereby meeting the future demand for panel disposal. In this respect, it is worth considering that there are currently more than 730,000 plants in operation in Italy.
