Objective of the project
The objective of the project is to define and develop a new platform of electronic engine control units (ECMs), capable of improving the performance (emissions, fuel consumption, power) of current controllers for mono-fuel natural gas systems in the Heavy Duty sector, for applications on buses and industrial transport vehicles.
RICADUTE PREVISTE SULLA COMPETITIVITÀ DELLE IMPRESE COINVOLTE
Technological upgrade of the ECM (Engine Control Module) aimed at delivering higher performance at reduced costs
Acquisition of know-how and availability of a highly flexible control platform capable of being used on a wide range of engine applications without requiring “application-by-application” customization
Availability of “Rapid Prototyping” firmware development methodologies to reduce development costs.
COLLABORAZIONE ATTIVATA, SIA TRA IMPRESE CHE CON ORGANISMI DI RICERCA
I&M Ideas&Motion for low-level ASICs hardware and firmware design
RUOLO SVOLTO DAL POLO (anche in prospettiva)
Promotion and tutorship for publicly funded programs related to the competence cluster.
