Objective of the project

The project aims to build a compact plant capable of processing the stator of a discarded household appliance motor and, through a semi-automatic process, separating copper from steel for their recovery.

Specifically, the new plant will have to:

  • Automatically open the stator of any electric motor
  • Separate the steel lamination part from the copper coil and deliver the two metals separately
  • Be compact in size
  • Have a plant cost competitive with large shredding facilities

RUOLO SVOLTO DAL POLO (anche in prospettiva)

The support of the CLEVER Cluster was of great help in the interpretative phase of the Innovation Poles Line B Call and served as a reference point in drafting the Format.
